Captain Michael Jones

Captain Michael Jones, owner and operator of Stykn Fyns Guide Service LLC, hails from the very creeks and rivers he now charts. Raised by a family of avid sportsmen who instilled in him their cherished traditions, he transformed his dreams into the reality of Stykn Fyns through unwavering dedication and a heartfelt promise to his family and children. Since our journey began in 2017, we’ve remained family-oriented, ensuring that all families can savor the same experiences we hold dear. From fishing to target shooting, we delight in making our customers an integral part of our outdoor family. BOWFISHING

Experience the thrill of bowfishing beneath the moonlit sky as our boat’s powerful lights illuminate the shallows, targeting an array of aquatic species, including longnose gar, catfish, bowfin, mullet, and stingrays. We will provide you with all of the equipment you need, you are welcome to bring your own if you choose. For those seeking stingrays, we offer bowfishing specifically tailored for them during daylight hours upon request. Typical duration of our bowfishing charters typically spans from 4 to 6 hours, subject to weather and fishing conditions.

WATERFOWL

Embark on an unforgettable waterfowl adventure with our Diver Duck Hunting Charter. Running from November through February, our guided excursions offer you a chance to pursue some of the most sought-after duck species, including blue bills, wood ducks, mallards, gadwall, buffleheads, and scoter ducks. Our layout boats that we use provides hunters with low-profile positions that enable close-range shots and improved shooting angles while ensuring safety and comfort. Join us for an exhilarating journey into the heart of waterfowl hunting season.

FISHING

Experience the tranquility of early morning small gill rod and reel fishing beneath the treetops. As the sun rises, cast your line for bream, crappie, sunfish, red belly Robin, shell crackers, and the elusive large mouth bass. Whether you prefer bombers, drop shot, or small lures, our goal is to fill your cooler with a bountiful catch, complimentary fish cleaning included. For a change of pace, try rod and reel fishing around submerged structures, targeting white perch, croaker, red drum, black drum, and speckled trout. If you’re seeking the ultimate trophy fishing experience, don’t miss our Bull Red drum excursions from August to October.
